Let me introduce you to Franklin, a genuine martial arts enthusiast, from the city of São Paulo, Brazil. His fascination with jiu jitsu started at the age of 15 in 2003. Ever since then he has embarked on an exhilarating journey.

By 2015 Franklin achieved the sought after belt, which stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to this art form. Throughout his adventure he proudly represented the Ryan Gracie team—a connection that has profoundly influenced his martial arts journey since 2011. As a devotee of jiu jitsu Franklin competed in tournaments across Brazil and emerged victorious as a champion in state level competitions.

For Franklin jiu jitsu is not a sport; it’s a way of life. After 2015 he felt a calling to share his knowledge and experiences with others. To prepare himself for this chapter he eagerly participated in seminars and training courses to establish a solid foundation of teaching skills.

Franklins teaching journey commenced in Brazil where he imparted his expertise to students at schools. However his thirst, for learning and sharing the art of jiu jitsu knows no bounds.
In 2017 he decided to explore New York and in 2019 he found himself in California embracing perspectives and sharing his love, for jiu jitsu with people from all walks of life.

Fast forward to 2023. Franklin has made a move to Florida. Why? Because he strongly believes that jiu jitsu should be accessible, to everyone. His friendly and inclusive teaching style embodies this belief making his classes not informative but incredibly enjoyable.
